Can-my Cookies

Here is a packaging idea for cookie based products. We came up with an idea of using a cardboard tube with a drawer-like tray that can be pulled out and reused. The cookies remain intact and protected as well as fresh and portable.

Hulk Hands Box

Made a box for my little hulk I had laying around at home. It is based on the original hulk hands that I have always wanted (sorry comic nerd). Went through a few stages of brainstorming and design to come up with my final design. I was able to design, print, and build my packaging which makes me very proud of my work.

Comic book characters are becoming more and more popular thanks to their stretch in media such at movies and tv shows. I created my own superhero and designed a front page for his first comic issue.

Manta Restaurant Identity

In my experience with children of all ages, they really like animals; in particular aquatic animals. so I did a little bit of research and I believe that the Manta Ray would be perfect to represent a restaurant. It is a dangerous and rare animal as well as a majestic and appealing animal to young children. For these reasons families and young professionals would be attracted this idea of relating to the theme itself and feel at home. The colours depend on who we wish to attract. I believe that we can either stick to a red, grey, and black colour scheme to portray strength and organisation, or we can go towards the more childish colours of blue, green and black to represent the ocean and the habitat where the Manta Ray lives. For typeface, I was thinking of sticking with a sans-serif font to portray the simplicity of the restaurant and the elegance that it has. The pattern would capture the habitat of the animal representing waves of the ocean such as spirals or dotted waves. This can allow the restaurant to be more kid friendly and open up the design possibilities as well.

Barney’s Room

This is a room design that I made in grade 12 using Google Sketch-Up. I designed it to be a modern room with lots of leather and metals. I also incorporated some of my own favourite things such as transformers, Star Wars and The Marvel Universe.

Depth Design

This is the Batcave including Batman in the foreground. I was trying to achieve depth using the colour blue and only shades of it.
